Welcome to my online gallery

I’m an artist based in Taranaki, New Zealand. While I’m especially drawn to painting portraits and people, I also explore landscapes, moments, and scenes that hold a story. I’m fascinated by the emotion in a face, the language of the body, and the atmosphere a place can carry.

When I paint, I’m not simply aiming for likeness — I’m chasing presence. Through layers of colour and subtle, intuitive mark making, I create work that feels alive and invites a sense of connection. Each piece becomes an exploration of mood, personality, and expression, whether it’s a person or a place.

My hope is that my paintings make you pause, feel something, and step into the story hinted at within each piece.
